I try. I try hard.

Everyday. I fight for us. I try to make us stronger, so that we can withstand whatever it is that’ll come and hit us next. I try hard, to keep us going everyday. I apologize for my mistakes, and I even apologize when it’s not my fault. Just so that we can be on good terms once again. I don’t like it when we fight, it scares me so much. My biggest fear is losing you. That’s why I put so much effort into us. Because I want us to last. Last as long as possible. I know sometimes my best effort might not be enough, but I do the best I can for us. To keep us alive, to keep us strong, to keep us connected, to keep us together. & even if we don’t work out in the long run, I can look back at us, and say that all my hard work and effort wasn’t for nothing. Because what we have now, is something good, something special. & I do my best, because when I look back at this, I can tell myself that I tried my hardest. & that at least I fucking tried. For us.
